Quinn's Impeccable Reputation

Quinn's Goldsmith has been in business for 17 years. Over that time we have received countless awards from the community and state. Last year we were voted Prince William County's #1 Jeweler. This year, 2007, we have been nominated for business of the year. Over the years we have been on CNN twice. On CBS news and Fox news named us their jewelry experts. We have been in countless magazines, e.g., National Jeweler seven times. We were even featured in the International Jeweler Magazine in 1994. We have also received the Fantastic 50 Award from our state Chamber of Commerce. No other Jeweler has ever received this award in our state.

Terence Quinn came to the Washington, DC, area while in the US Air Force. He then became a Presidential Honor Guard and served his term with Distinguished President Reagan. While in the Honor Guard he started his business. He started as a Goldsmith doing repairs from his home and contract work for local jewelers. In 1990, he open Quinn's Goldsmith.

Since conception Quinn's has grown into a four story freestanding building, in the heart of Occoquan, Virginia, with a staff of 23.

Quinn's growth is attributed to using the same philosophy as when he served our President. That is how to serve the people. This mindset has grown Quinn's into a multi-million dollar corporation.

Quinn's success has not gone unnoticed in the community. Quinn's has raised over $200,000 for the Make a Wish Foundation, and countless other organizations in the area. Terry Quinn has server as Chairman of the retail division for the local Chamber of commerce for three years. He volunteers weekly for a local school serving lunchs for some three hundred children, including his own.

Terry also travels numerous times of the year to find the best products and value for his customers. Antwerp at the diamond market and Australia to the Opal mines both in 2006. US trips from New York to Tucson Arizona for the world stone shows.

Lastly, Terry himself is a proclaimed goldsmith and jeweler. Many people don't know is he does many other things in the art field. He has studied at the Corcoran school of art in Washington DC, specializing in sculpting. He is a jewelry designer, wax carver and hand engraver. Many of the custom designs are still made by his hands, although his main job now is Customer Relations. "It's the best job because I get to create happiness."
